  1. It's important not to bottle up your feelings when losing a loved one. Someone close to you may be feeling the same type of loss and it could be helpful to both of you if you talk it out.
  2. As well as shock, bereavement can cause numbness, disbelief, pain, guilt, anger and even relief.
  3. A funeral gives everyone the opportunity to say goodbye to a loved one or close friend.
  4. Everyone comes to terms with bereavement differently.
  5. If you're finding it difficult to cope, talk to your family, teacher or a counsellor.
