5 Things u need2know

  1. People can become homeless because of threats of violence or abuse from parents, partners or neighbours.

  3. Local councils and authorities must find housing for homeless people aged 16 or 17 years old.
  4. Because landlords ask tenants to sign a contract, under 18s are unlikely to be able to rent.
  5. A landlord cannot force a tenant to leave by switching off power supplies or using abusive methods.
