5 Things u need2know

  1. Course allows students to show their teacher how much they have learned throughout the school year.
  2. Keeping ahead of schoolwork gives you a real edge before you sit your exams, as marks can often contribute to your final grade. This can lessen the pressure of sitting the final exam.
  3. Everyone takes Key Stage 3 National Tests in Year 9 (ages 13-14) of secondary school - English, Maths and Science are compulsory.
  4. When progressing to GCSE level, you have a say in some of the subjects you will eventually study. But English, maths, ICT and science are compulsory.
  5. It is as important to take breaks from studying, as it is to study in concentrated bursts. Your brain can only absorb so much at a time.
