- Be realistic when deciding what sort of place to go for, and how much you can afford to spend.
- Save up as much money for a deposit as possible. This will reduce the amount you borrow and also the amount of the monthly repayments you'll be making.
- Make sure you've sorted everything out at your previous accommodation before moving on.
- The house buying process can take long time so try to be patient and not get too stressed. Most delays will be beyond your control.
