  1. One in ten sexually active teenagers has a sexually transmitted infection. Some infections, like chlamydia, have no symptoms.
  2. Using a condom can reduce the chance of pregnancy by 98 per cent, and also helps to prevent catching an infection. The pill, injections and patches do not protect you from infections and diseases.
  3. You can get free contraception from GPs, community contraception clinics and many sexual health clinics.
  4. If you think you may be pregnant, it's very important to take a test and get advice quickly.
  5. You can buy contraception and get sexual health advice even if you are under 16. It's free and confidential.
