  1. Looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body. You need to feel good in the inside to feel good on the outside.
  2. One in four people will have a problem with their mental health at some point in their life.
  3. It's important to do something about a mental health problem. Talk to a family member, friend or teacher. You could even contact a helpline like Connexions Direct or ChildLine.
  4. Suicide is the biggest killer among young men in England and Wales. Whilst women are more likely to suffer from anxiety disorders and depression.
  5. If you are worried about your mental health you should visit your GP who will advise you on the best treatment. Treatment can include medication, counselling and various self-help schemes.
