- Looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body. You need to feel good in the inside to feel good on the outside.
- One in four people will have a problem with their mental health at some point in their life.
- It's important to do something about a mental health problem. Talk to a family member, friend or teacher. You could even contact a helpline like Connexions Direct or ChildLine.
- Suicide is the biggest killer among young men in England and Wales. Whilst women are more likely to suffer from anxiety disorders and depression.
- If you are worried about your mental health you should visit your GP who will advise you on the best treatment. Treatment can include medication, counselling and various self-help schemes.
