Where to go and what to study are never the easiest of decisions, so, for those still wavering, clear, impartial and confidential information and advice is available from a team of Connexions/Careers Advisers through the Department for Children, Schools and Families' (DCSF) results service, calls from land lines are free on 0808 100 8000.
A team, of around 40 specially trained advisers, in Scotland and England, are ready to provide the best possible information and advice on all post-exams options. They have access to an online database, developed by UCAS and DCSF, which provides up to the minute information about course availablity. So whatever stage aspiring students are at in the process, they should remember that expert information and advice is only one call away. The helpline is available for GCSE students, mature students and calls from parents/guardians are also welcome.
